Why does your new soap label now have warning statements?Updated 2 months ago
We regularly conduct third-party safety assessments to ensure the safety of our products. This testing not only allows us to stay up to date on ever-evolving safety regulations, but to also maintain transparency with our customers.
After a recent assessment, toxicologists suggested that we update our recommendations for specific fragrances concerning use with children, babies, and pets. While our soap has not changed and is safe to use as instructed, we have added new safety statements for our Peppermint, Eucalyptus, and Tea Tree fragrances as follows:
Peppermint (liquid soap, bar soap, and sugar soap): “Not recommended for children under 3 years as the peppermint tingle may be overwhelming for them.”
Eucalyptus (liquid soap, bar soap): “This scent contains eucalyptol, which can be irritating to babies and children.”
Tea Tree (liquid soap, bar soap, and sugar soap): “Avoid using this scent to wash your pets, as tea tree oil can be toxic to them.”
