Why does the bar soap crumble upon cutting it?Updated 2 hours ago
While our Pure-Castile Bar Soap can be cut into smaller pieces, as it ages, it may crumble slightly. This is because freshly made bar soaps retain more moisture and are much easier to cut without crumbling than older bars. As this moisture naturally evaporates from bars over time, older bars will be a bit drier. However, soaking the entire bar of soap in water may help soften it a bit before cutting, preventing crumbling.
