What's the percentage of MCT's in your Virgin Coconut Oil?Updated 9 days ago
Medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) are naturally occurring in all coconut oil and consist of three main components: capric acid, caprylic acid, and lauric acid. While the amount of each component varies by brand and even batch to batch, the typical levels (7%, 6%, 49%) of each add up to around 62%, which is about average for most organic coconut oils, including our Regenerative Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. Some companies only provide their lauric acid content, since it’s the main MCT, with our coconut oil containing 47–51%.
