Our Organic Sugar Soap and Organic Shaving Soap have very similar ingredients and can be used interchangeably; however, they're not identical.

The main difference between these two is that our Sugar Soap contains more water and white grape juice, making it a tad more fluid and easier to use with a pump dispenser. On the other hand, our Shaving Soap contains a higher amount of shikakai powder and adds xanthan gum to the formulation. Shikakai powder is a natural humectant that has been used in India for centuries as a gentle conditioner for skin and hair. As a result, we'd consider our Shaving Soap to be the most moisturizing soap we offer. The added xanthan gum functions as a thickener, allowing the Shaving Soap to stay in your hands more easily for application.
