What is the pH of your Magic Soap?Updated 13 days ago

Like most “true soaps,” our Pure-Castile Magic Soap falls within the pH range of 8.7 - 9.9, regardless of the scent you choose. This is the natural pH of our soap, as we don't alter or fluctuate it, and we never add any synthetic preservatives to our body care products. Instead, the natural high concentration of our soap keeps the product stable over time.

While many don't consider this range to be ‘pH-balanced’ there's some debate about whether pH-balanced soap is truly necessary. If this is a concern of yours, I encourage you to read more about this topic in Lisa Bronner’s blog post, Skin Health, pH, and Dr. Bronner’s Soap. With that said, should you have any health concerns, we always recommend consulting with your dermatologist or physician, as they can help determine the products that may be more suitable for your body.
