What is my Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner's shelf life?Updated 9 days ago

Our  Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner* has a 3-year shelf life from the date of manufacture and a 24-month shelf life after opening (POA).

While our Sal Suds doesn't have an expiration date, for the best quality, we recommend finishing your product within 3 years of the manufacture date, or within 24 months of opening, still before the 3-year mark.

How to read our Julian Dates:

The manufacture date will be represented by either a 5-digit Julian date or a 7-digit code. Regardless of which code your bottle has, it will be etched or printed on the bottom section of the bottle, below the label. Note that they're not the barcode.

If your bottle has a 5-digit Julian date, the first two numbers of the code represent the manufacturing year (ex: 24 = 2024, 25 = 2025). The following 3 digits represent the day of the year that the lotion is manufactured (ex: 24241 = August 29, 2024).

Alternatively, if your bottle has a 7-digit code, it can only be deciphered by our team. If that's the case, simply share your product's 7-digit code with our customer experience team HERE, and we'll be happy to provide you with the date of manufacture and best-by date.
