What is my Pure-Castile Magic Bar Soap's shelf life?Updated 2 days ago

Our Pure-Castile Magic Bar Soap has a 3-year shelf life from the date of manufacture, as indicated by the lot code on the outer wrapper. 

While our Bar Soap doesn't have an expiration date, for the best quality, we recommend using it within 3 years of the manufacture date and storing it in a cool, dark place away from moisture.

How to read our Julian Dates:

The lot codes for our Bar Soap are written as Julian dates, making them quite easy to read once you know how. You can always find them at one of the wrapper's folded ends. (Example shown below)

The first number of the code represents the manufacturing year (ex, 24 = 2024, 25 = 2025). The following 3 digits represent the day of the year that the soap is manufactured (ex, 24241 = August 29, 2024). 

Note that some lot codes may have two extra digits at the end, as shown in the example below. Feel free to ignore these extra digits as they are not a part of the Julian date.
