What is my Organic Hair Rinse's shelf life?Updated 11 days ago

Our Organic Hair Rinse has a 1-year shelf life from the date of manufacture and a 5-month shelf life after opening (POA). The manufacture date is represented by a lot code on the bottle. 

While our hair rinse doesn't have an expiration date, for the best quality, we recommend finishing your product within 1 year of the manufacture date, or within 5 months of opening, still before the 1-year mark.

How to read our Julian Dates:

The lot codes for our hair rinse are written as Julian dates, making them quite easy to read once you know how. They will be etched or printed onto the plastic bottle, right below where the label ends, on the bottom portion of the bottle.

The first two numbers of the code represent the manufacturing year (ex: 24 = 2024, 25 = 2025). The following 3 digits represent the day of the year that the rinse is manufactured (ex: 25241 = August 29, 2025).
