What is EWG Verified? I see it on your new Magic Soap™ labels.Updated 6 hours ago

EWG Verified is a set of standards developed by the Environmental Working Group’s (EWG) science and research teams to help communicate to consumers the safety of a product. When a personal care product becomes EWG Verified, it means that the product:

  • Does not contain any ingredients on EWG's "Unacceptable" list, i.e., ingredients with health, ecotoxicity, and/or contamination concerns.
  • Does not contain any ingredients on EWG's "Restricted" list, which do not meet the restrictions set by relevant authoritative bodies and industry institutions, i.e., EU Cosmetic Regulations, CIR, etc.
  • Fully discloses ingredients on the label, including ingredients used in fragrances.
  • Follows the EU’s requirements for labeling fragrance allergens.
