Should I dilute the Pure-Castile Magic Soap for face, body, or hand washing?Updated 40 minutes ago

You certainly can dilute our Pure-Castile Magic Soap when using it for body, face, or hand washing. However, we've found that the water present in the shower or bath does the diluting for you!

We understand there may be reasons you'd want to predilute our soap. In this case, we recommend using a manual foaming pump dispenser and diluting the soap at a 1:3 ratio of soap to water.

Suggested ratio example:

• 8 oz. bottle = 2 oz. soap and 6 oz. water
• 12 oz. bottle = 3 oz. soap and 9 oz. water

It's important to note that our Magic Soaps are not compatible with standard or automatic dispensers, so foaming pumps or spray bottles are the best options!

When diluting our soap, just keep in mind that its shelf life will be reduced to 2 weeks to one month. For this reason, it’s best to dilute only the amount you’ll use up in a couple of weeks. However, dilutions made with distilled water can last up to 6 months. Using distilled water can also reduce natural soap separation that may occur with hard water.
