Category: Fragrance
Sourced from: Lavender
Country of Origin: Bulgaria and France
Certified to: Organic - USDA NOP or equivalent

We use certified fair trade and organic Lavender Oil or Augustafolia Lavandula from Southern France in all lavender-fragranced product lines. For our liquid and bar soaps, we use a blend with lavandin or Augustafolia Hybridia. Liquid and Bar soaps have considerably more essential oil content than other product lines so using a blend of the two different oil types gives an economical and balanced fragrance. Lavender oil is a concentrated liquid derived from the aromatic flowers of the lavender plant using a special process called steam distillation.
