Creating your own scent of Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Liquid Soap is a wonderful way to customize your cleaning experience. By adding essential oils to our Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Liquid Soap you can adjust your soap to the exact scent you desire for your home. Adding essential oils will not change the efficacy or safety of our soap as long as the correct amount is used and there are no known allergies.

Please feel free to also mix your favorite scents together, to create your very own custom scent! You can mix our Castile Soaps, or our Sugar Soaps. However, we do not recommend mixing different products together (ex. Castile & Sal Suds, Castile & Sugar Soap).

Try to adhere to our recommended amounts as adding too much essential oil to our soap can cause consistency issues, cloudiness, or separation.

Lastly, we’d like to mention that some animals are more sensitive to certain essential oils and concentrations. If you have animals in your home, we encourage you to consult with your veterinarian to see what oils would be best suited for your home.
