Virgin coconut oil is produced by squeezing the oil out of the dried kernel of cocos nucifera. It is a skin conditioning agent, lubricant in toothpaste, and is the primary oil saponified in the castile soap. Our organic and fair trade Virgin Coconut Oil from Serendipol is unrefined, while our other products are made using mostly refined organic and fair trade coconut oil.
