Can I use the Organic Magic Balm for tattoo care?Updated a year ago

Our Unscented Organic Magic Balm is great for healing new tattoos and is an excellent alternative to the petroleum-based ointments. 

After a tattoo is fully healed, our Magic Balm can be used to “shine up” a tattoo periodically—the balm lasts longer than lotion because it stays on the surface of the skin longer. The balm feels similar to an oil-based salve rather than a water-based lotion, but it still makes your skin feel wonderfully soft.

We highly recommend Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Soap for both piercing and tattoo aftercare. The Tea Tree Pure-Castile Liquid Soap works best because the tea tree oil acts as a natural antiseptic and supports the healing process for both piercings and tattoos. We also have the Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Soap, which is great for sensitive skin.
