Can I use a pump dispenser with the Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner?Updated 10 days ago

Due to our Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner* being very concentrated, it does not work well in pump dispensers even when diluted. We've tested a variety of pumps and dilutions over the years with little success. Inevitably, the pumps always clog. Instead, we recommend keeping your Sal Suds in its original bottle and dispensing as needed. 

With that said, it works great in foaming dispensers as they “thicken” our Sal Suds with water and air. If you decide to use a foaming dispenser, be sure to use the dilution ratio of 1 part Sal Suds to 6 parts water. This dilution doesn’t create the issues with clogging that undiluted soap would.

Example:

• 8 oz. bottle = 1 oz. Sal Suds and 6 oz. water

Just keep in mind that diluting our products does reduce their shelf life. Generally, diluting with tap or filtered water results in a shelf life of about 2 weeks to a month, while dilutions with distilled water can last up to 6 months.
