Can I mix Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner with alcohol?Updated 10 days ago

While rubbing alcohol can be mixed with our Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner*, certain proportions are beneficial, and others are detrimental. 

Adding up to 5% of alcohol to Sal Suds can increase the cleaning ability. But any more than that, and the alcohol will kill the detergents' foaming properties and decrease the cleaning effect of Sal Suds. 

Instead of adding alcohol, we recommend making an all-purpose cleaning spray with an antibacterial boost. Fill a spray bottle with 1 qt. (1 L) of water. Then add either ¼ c. (60 mL) of our Tea Tree Pure-Castile Liquid Soap or 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner and 10-20 drops of tea tree essential oil. Gently swirl this mixture to combine everything, and you are ready to go!
