Can I mix Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner with alcohol?Updated a year ago

Rubbing alcohol can be mixed with Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner*. However, certain proportions are beneficial, and others detrimental. 

Adding alcohol up to 5% of the Sal Suds amount can increase the cleaning ability. But any more than that, and the alcohol will kill the foaming property and decrease the cleaning effect of Sal Suds. 

Instead of adding alcohol, we recommend making an all-purpose cleaning spray with an antibacterial boost. First, fill a spray bottle with 1 qt. (1 L) of water. Then add either ¼ c. (60 mL) of our Tea Tree Pure-Castile Liquid Soap or 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner and 10-20 drops of tea tree essential oil. Swirl this mixture gently to combine everything and you are ready to go!
