As part of our ongoing sustainability and product optimization efforts, Dr. Bronner's has discontinued both the 2oz and 4oz sizes. We launched a new 3.4 oz size in May of 2025. We made sure that our new 3.4oz bottles are recyclable, unlike the previous 2oz bottles, to help us reduce non-recyclable waste and move closer towards our environmental targets. 

The transition from 4 oz to 3.4 oz was also driven by practicality, as the previous 4 oz size was not TSA-friendly for carry-on travel.

In addition to its sustainability benefits, the 3.4 oz size offers a convenient, on-the-go option for everyone. It provides more product while remaining compact enough for everyday carry, bags, backpacks, travel, and other active lifestyles, making it both an eco-conscious and versatile choice.
